- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Unarmed Guard Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution, Seagoville, Texas, requiring hospitalization in the local area hospitals. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be an indefinite delivery requirements type contract with firm fixed unit prices. The contract terms shall consist of a base period from the effective date of the contract through 12 months with 3 subsequent, 12 month option periods for renewal if exercised. The estimated quantities for the base period and each option year period are as follows: Base Year - 12,000 man-hours; option year 1 - 12,000 man-hours; option year 2 - 12,000 man-hours; option year 3 - 12,000 man-hours. The solicitation will be available on or about December 20, 2004, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about January 4, 2005. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concern. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible small businesses may submit a quote which will be considered.
