- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ), and the reference number is F7363943060100. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-25. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 334310 and the size standard is 750 employees. Contractor is required to provide all personnel, labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to replace four rear projection screens servicing the balcony theatre on the third floor of building 1600, Scott AFB, IL. The contractor is required to remove, dispose and then replace the four existing screens with new, high resolution, rear projection, anti-glare screens with good vertical off-axis viewing, compatible with existing BARCO BCD Helios projectors, Custom Display Solutions VistaPower 2.0 Cast Fresnel/Diffusion screen or equal. Each screen should be of single-piece design with a minimum one year warranty on all parts and labor. Image size screen is approximately 67? x 90.75? (112? Diag NTSC). Screens should use existing metal frames. Preliminary dimensions of existing frames (metal to metal) are 70.50? x 94.50?. The contractor shall provide with his offer a proposed list of equipment, including manufacturers and part numbers. The provision in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial items, is applicable to this solicitation.
