- Provide all labor, materials, supervision and means required to perform interior and exterior Aircraft Wash Services on the C-5 Galaxy Aircraft as described within the Statement of Work contained within the solicitation. Services will be performed o n site at the 105th Airlift Wing, New York Air National Guard Base located at 1 Militia Way, Stewart Airport, Newburgh, New York 12550. The proposed contract type is firm fixed price. The contract period encompasses One (1) Base Year, with Four (4) One ( 1) year options to be exercised at the discretion of the Government as per FAR Clause 52.217-9. The estimated dollar value of the contract is $500,000 to $1,000,000 over the five-year term of the contract. The Service Contract Act of 1965 applies to this acquisition. A Bid Bond in the amount of 20% of the total bid price is required by the solicita tion. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns as per FAR 19.502-2. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 488190, with a small business size standard of $6,000,000. The issue date for the solicitation i s scheduled for on or around January 3, 2005. An organized site visit is tentatively scheduled for on or around Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at the work site. The due date for the bid is scheduled for on or around February 8, 2005 at 3:00 P.M.
