Description

Class Code 95 Subject: Steel Tube Alloy SOL#: W52H09-05-T-5155 Response Date: 17 December 2004 This is a combined synopsis/quotation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only quotation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The combined Synopsis/ Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is W52H09-05-T-5155 and will be published on the ASFI website at https://acquisition.army.mil. This procurement is Full and Open Competition. Offers are due no later than 17 December 2004, 2:30 pm at FAX 309-782-6727 or email  dennisonb@ria.army.mil. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 331111 with a size standard of 1000 employees. DESCRIPTION: FSC 4710, Steel Tube Alloy, 4130 Seamless Cold Finish,Round, 4.000 OD X 2.750 ID (.625 Wall), ASTM A519 Total Order Quantity  1693 feet CRITICAL URGENT DELIVERY. Delivery of all steel tube shall be 7 January 2005. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to locations: Rock Island Arsenal (Illinois). EVALUATION. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering price and price related factors. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers: 1) Del ivery, 2) Price. Ability to meet or exceed the requested delivery date will be evaluated with price to determine contract award.
