- NSN 1240-01-152-3512 (Part Number 10549221) and 5340-00-706-8149 (Part Number 8579191). The items to procure are: (1) the Sight, Bore, Optical F/M45E1 with carrying case. The sight includes a telescope elbow and a body made from aluminum castings. Parts include cell, eyepiece, lens, strap and clamp assemblies. The two piece steel case has cushioning made from unicellular polyethylene and an approximate size of six inches and five inches high. (2) Clamp Assy, consisting of a ring, shoe, bracket a nd screw. Made from corrosion resisting steel with finishes 4.10, 21.3, 3.3.4 of Mil-Std-171 and silver braze required. The approximate size is .812 inches wide x 2.312 high. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract with three pricing periods. The guaranteed minimum quantities are as follows: 365 each PN 10549221 and 160 each PN 8579191. The maximum quantities per ordering period are as fo llows: 200 - 400 each PN 10549221 and 200 each PN 8579191. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 3 Jan 05. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendor s wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amend ments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY05 requirement.
