Description: THIS NOTICE IS FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. SMALL BUSINESS SOURCES. NAICS CODE 621111. The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, is seeking all small business sources to furnish unlimited use of a physician service for 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, to assist crew members of the Dredge Wheeler in any medical emergency and make the recommendation for appropriate action. Also, the vendor will assess the current medical supply cabinet and provide the ship with a list of the current inventory including expiration dates and supply levels and recommendations for updates or changes in supplies to maintain standard compliance. Performance of the above requires a minimum of two visits per year to the vessel located at 7400 Leake Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana , 70118. The period for demonstrating interest for the proposed solicitation closes at 1:00 P.M. on 30 November 2004. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621111 and the business size standard is $8.5M. Solicitati on W912P8-05-T-0006 will be available on or about December 1, 2004. This requirement will be procured as a base plus four option period contract.
