Description
This announcement is to solicit interest for the establishment of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with Service Disabled Veterans. This requirement is restricted to service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. NAICS solicited are 4218 10/423810 Construction and Mining (except oil well) Machinery and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers, 421820/423820 Farm and Garden Machinery and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers, and 421830/423830 Industrial Machinery and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers. The sm all business size standard for all three listed NAICS is 100 employees. Equipment may be purchased or rented (rental shall not to exceed 6 months). The BPA duration will be 1-year and may be extended at 1-year increments not to exceed 5 years. Establish ment of BPAs does not imply any agreement by the Government to place future contracts or orders with the BPA holders. The Government makes no representation as to the number of calls or actual amount of work to be ordered. The establishment of BPAs doe s not justify purchasing from only one source. The Government intends to award multiple BPAs for this requirement. Price reasonableness will be determined by competing BPA calls among BPA holders. If, for a particular purchase greater than the micro-pu rchase threshold, there is an insufficient number of BPAs to ensure maximum practicable competition, the contracting officer shall solicit quotations from other sources and make the purchase as appropriate. Orders may be placed for Vicksburg District, St . Paul District, Rock Island District, St. Louis District, Memphis District, or New Orleans District. BPA holders will be selected based on successful past performance. Responses to this announcement must include past performance information to include c ontact names, addresses, phone numbers, contract numbers as well as a description of the supplies/services provided. Point of contact is Davita S. Baloue at davita.s.baloue@mvk02.usace.army.mil. A solicitation will not be issued. Reponses to this announ cement must be received not later than 27 Dec 2004, 4:00PM central time to be considered. All responsible service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns may submit an offer, which if submitted timely, will be considered. All respondents must have an active registration at Central Contractor Registration www.ccr.gov. Responses shall be mailed to Davita S. Baloue, Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office, USACE, Vicksburg District, 4155 Clay Street, Vicksburg, MS 39183-3435. Facsimile offers shall not be accepted. Number Notes: 29.
