- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division requires Rotary Couplers for the AN SPS-48E antenna pedestal. These waveguide dual channel, 12-channel slip ring assembly Rotary Couplers will be retrofit into existing antenna pedestal assemblies already installed on Navy ships. The Navy intends to award a two-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 35 Rotary Couplers to Kevlin Corporation, 596 Lowell Street, Methuen, MA, 01844 on a sole-source basis, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1; i.e., only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. See Note 22. Delivery for the Rotary Couplers shall be FOB destination within 224 days from the effective date of contract award. Preliminary inspection will occur at source and final inspection and acceptance will be at destination. The solicitation will be posted on the NSWC Crane web site at www.crane.navy.mil; no hardcopies of the solicitation! will be mailed. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
