- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 12.6, This announcement constitutes the solicitation; quotations are being requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N00244-05-T-0186 The solicitation document and provisions incorporates clauses of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation. The SIC code is 7359. The FISC Code is W072 and the North American Industry Classification System Code is 532210. The requirement is for rental maintenance services of Washers and Dryers for the Naval Base Bachelor Housing at Point Hueneme, CA 93043, and Naval Base Bachelor Housing at Point Mugu, CA. The Period of Performance: 1/25/05 to 9/30/05 with a 1 year option to extend the contract: Period of Performance 10/01/05 to 9/30/06. The solicitation is set aside for small business. The specifications and requirements are provided as follows! : 156EA Washers, 40EA Single Gas Dryers, 6EA Single Electric Dryers, 76EA Stackable Gas Dryer Units(Dryer/Dryer), 57EA Stackable Washer/Gas Dryer Combo's Units, 20EA Stackable Electric Dryer Units(Dryer/Dryer). Color: Preference White Washers Full Size: Super Capacity, 3.0 cu. Ft., width cannot be larger than 27". Features: 2-Speed, 10 Wash cycle selections, dual action agitator, 4 Wash/Rinse Temperatures, Sound Insulation, Variable water levels selection, with dispensers for softener, bleach, and leveling legs. Dryers: 5.7 Cu Ft. Capacity; 9 Cycle Selections, Perm Press/Normal/Regular, Knit/Delicate, Wrinkle; Timed Dry; Air Dry, 5 temperatures Selections, Electronic moisture sensor, dryer rack, Front Serviceable. Machines are Not Coin operated. If Machine cannot be repaired on site, or cannot be repaired within 48 hours, Contractor will furnish replacement machine at no cost. Express warranties shall be included in the contract. AWARD CRITERIA: Award will be made to the technically acceptable, low cost offeror, the determination of a fair and reasonable price, the successful contractor determined responsible within the meaning of FAR, Part 9 and conformance of the requirements set forth herein.
