Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared under FAR Subpart 13.5 as supplemented by additional information included in this notice. This procurement will be unrestricted. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency intends to procure ?Facsimile Machine Maintenance? on Secure and Non-secure Fax Machines located throughout the Continental United States, for a Time and Material Contract. The Government intends to award the contract to include one base year consisting of 12 months, plus 2 option years also consisting of 12 months each. The equipment list consists of Hewlett Packard, Lanier, Ricoh, Ilex Konica, Panafax, Xerox, Canon, Omni, Sharp and Brothers, but is not all-inclusive and is subject to change. The contractor shall provide services and hardware maintenance on a per call or as needed basis as determined by the Government. The Contractor shall provide fixed rate per labor hour. The proposal for parts and materials shall include cost for the part and maintenance plus markup. All travel shall be reimbursable at cost per the Joint Travel Regulation. Costs in the proposal shall be identified by a base and two options years priced separately. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The contractor shall respond only to specific Government requests for remedial maintenance and hardware maintenance services. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2001-25. Provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation ?Commercial Items, is hereby incorporated by reference. Award will be made to the Technically Acceptable offer whose price is lowest. Offers are to include a commercial price list, a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items, and provisions at DFARS 252.212- 7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with the offer. In accordance with provision at 252.204-7001, Cage Code reporting, Offeror is to provide Cage Code, Tax ID and DUNS # for consideration with the offer. Offerors eligible to receive the award must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statues or Executive Order-Commercial Items is hereby incorporated by reference (including 52.222-3, 52.233-3, 52.203-6, 52.203-10, 52.219-8, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37). In addition FAR 52.217-5, Evaluation of Options is incorporated by reference. The clause at 252.212- 7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement statutes or Executive Statutes or Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, is hereby incorporated by reference (including: 252.225-7001, 252.225-7012, 252.225- 7036.
