- The Department of Homeland Security, Bureau of Customs and Border Protection intends to procure from 3M Security Marketing Center, 3M Security Systems Division, St. Paul, MN Tamper Gard Security Labels to support the Office of International Affairs Container Security Initiative. Specifications& Data are as follows: 3M TamperGard Security label #75-0500-6816-4, eM TamperGard Security label: T008. Aggressive Adhesive; "CSI" Hot -stamped on green base label 2.75" x 12.0; 150 labels per roll: Outer diameter=6.0; Serialized; missing numbers allowed, but tracked and recorded. Standard packaging and tolerance. Freight Estimate should be included in price of item. Quantity: 20,700 Each. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit an affirmative response/proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all affirmative responses/proposals received by not later than December 23, 2004. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Affirmative Responses/Proposals should be submitted via either email or fax to the Contracting Officer by not later December 23, 2004.
