Description

The US Coast Guard intends to negotiate a Sole Source Modification with URSA Navigation Solutions, Inc., Chesapeake, VA under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) ? Soliciting from a Single Source, for a Terma Radar Mast - P/N 227676-002. NAICS Code 339999. URSA is the only known US distributor able to provide spare parts for Terma Radars. Only Terma radar parts will meet the Governments need. The Government?s determination is based on previous procurements for Terma Radar spare parts. A fixed price modification will be issued on or about December 20, 2004. All items to be delivered to US Coast Guard Group Galveston, Galveston, TX. Delivery Date is one week after receipt of order, FOB Destination. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement, in writing, no later than 12:00 PM December 17, 2004. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. Written responses to this notice shall be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this requirement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotation nor is it a request for competition.***
