Description

Design services to furnish complete construction documents (Plans & Specifications) and construction period services for Project 573-05-301 "Repair Expansion Joints, Building No. 1?, at this medical center. Provide design services to replace the caulking and backing rod around windows, expansion joints, and between exterior wall concrete pre-cast of Building #1. The A/E firm selected for the design will be required to perform all necessary site survey work. Firms should have the capability of producing construction drawings on a computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) system and furnish VA with a CD containing such drawings at construction completion. CADD system shall be compatible with AutoCAD Release 14, AutoCAD LT 2005. Selection will be based upon recent specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required, professional capacity to accomplish work, professional qualifications of staff and consultants assigned to project, past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry, in terms of cost control, quality of work, compliance with performance schedules, and other appropriate evaluation criteria. Consideration is limited Emerging Small Business concerns located within a 150-mile radius of Gainesville, FL. An Emerging Small Business concern for purposes of this solicitation is defined as a firm whose average annual receipts for the past three years does not exceed $2 million. Firms desiring consideration should submit 2 copies of SF 330 by close of business 01/18/2005. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THERE ARE NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE.
