Description

Requirements type contract for Military Occupational Specialty Improvement Training (MOSIT) for such courses as Unit Supply Management System, Physical Security/Arms Room Management, Organizational Fuel Dispensing Equipment Operations (Petroleum Oil Lubrication (POL) Handlers), and Armored Courses. The period of performance is 01 February 2005 through 31 January 2006 with four (4) one-year options. Prospective bidders must be from the following accredited institution: Middle States Association of Col leges and School, New England Association of Colleges and Schools, North Central Associations of Colleges and Schools, Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, or Western Association of Schools and Colleg es. This proposed solicitation is 100 percent set-aside for historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and minority institutions (MIs), as defined by Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) clause 252.226-7000. Th e North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 611210. Interested HBCUs and MIs should provide evidence of their capability to perform the contract, and a positive statement of their responsibility as an HBCU or MI to ACA, Directorate of Contra cting. If adequate response is not received from HBCU and MIs, the solicitation will instead be issued, without further notice, as unrestricted. Therefore, replies to this notice are also requested from all other responsible sources. The capability and res ponsibility statement, and requests for the solicitation, must be submitted in writing and must include a signature by 05 January 2005.
