Description
The US Army TACOM-Picatinny Center for Contracting and Commerce in support of PEO Ammo, associated Program Management Offices (OPM?s) and the Research Development and Engineering Command ? Armament, Research, Development, and Engineering Center (RDECOM-ARDEC), Picatinny are seeking sources among GSA schedule contractors for support services. These organizations require a full range of consulting, analytical, software and hardware services (both classified and unclassified) which include: resource management; engineering; administrative and program support functions; data analysis and reduction; simulations and modeling; functional and configuration analysis; sensitivity analysis; optimization of tactical system effectiveness; and participation in Integrated Process and Product Teams (IPTs). The primary location for the performance of work under any ensuing contract would be Picatinny, NJ; however travel may be required per individual task order. All interested contractors will have to address all areas of their expertise listed in the formal Request for Proposal (RFP). The complete requirements will be included in the Statement of Work (SOW) issued with the RFP. A draft SOW has been placed on the Picatinny Center for Contracting and Commerce web site. Interested parties can access it at http://procnet.pica.army.mil/dbi/DynCBD/SourcesSought.cfm The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) code for this program is R408, NAICS code is 541611, and the SIC code is 8742. The size standard for Small Business is $6 Million in annual average receipts over the past three (3) years. All responses will be considered for inclusion in the distribution list and must include proof of ability to provide the following type services - management, analytical, engineering and technical services in support of PEO Ammunition?s Life Cycle mission functions ? including performance information and references to the contractors abilities. The response should also provide GSA schedule information. RFP responses will include contract labor categories and labor and overhead rates for this service. All responses must include company name, address, POC, phone number, fax number, email address, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS number and CAGE code. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration at http://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. All responses must be received no later than 7 January 2005. All appropriately supported responses will be provided the RFP and SOW for preparation and submission of a formal proposal. This is a sources sought notice for planning purposes only.
