Description
MARKET SURVEY AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: Information is being collected for market survey purposes and not as a request for proposal or as an obligation on part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey and will not pay for information solicited. Please identify any proprietary information submitted. All information submitted will be retained in the contract office files as market research but will not be released to the public. 300 Winchester Magnum, DODIC A191, NSN 1305-01-018-1547. This round has a 190 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail (HPBT) projectile made by Sierra Bullet #2210 and is intended as an anti-personnel and unarmored target sniper ammunition. The cartridges are packe d in 20 round cartons, M2A1 ammunition boxes then wire bound boxes. While there are no firm requirements at this time, the requirement could be for approximately 355,000 rounds the first year with a possibility of 300,000 per year for the following four y ears. The USG has no intention of waiving any technical data package requirements and does not intend to provide any GFM (Government Furnished Materials). The Army Field Support Command is seeking sources capable of meeting subject requirements. Interested sources should submit concept papers outlining their capabilities to meet the Armys requirements should they develop. Concept papers, at a minimum, sho uld identify your business structure, business size and status, business capabilities to produce these requirements (equipment, technical, production rate capabilities identifying minimum and maximums, quality system utilized, etc.), past experience with s ame or similar items.
