Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis will be as follows. A separate written solicitation M67400-05-T-0119 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after 05 Jan 2005. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-25 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. DPAS Rating is DO-C9E. The North American Industrial Classification System codes are 325181 and 325188, and the business size standard is NTE 5.0 million. This procurement constitutes Item 0001, 0002, and 0003 plus Two Year Option Periods (Item No 1001 ? 1003 and 2001 ? 2003). Required Items and Descriptions are as follows. ITEM 0001 Qty: 1 Lot, Chemicals for Swimming Pools & Water Plant, Okinawa, Japan. ITEM 0002 Qty: 1 Lot, Chemicals for Water Plant & Water Treatment Facilities, Okinawa, Japan. ITEM 0003 Qty: 1 Lot, Chemicals for Sewage Treatment Plant Facilities, Okinawa, Japan. The chemicals may include ?Sodium Hypochlorite (12%)?, ?Sulfuric Acid (Dilute, 60%)?, ?Hydrochloric Acid (33%)?, ?Poly Aluminum Chloride?, ?Water Purified?, ?Activated Carbon?, ?Disinfecting Tablet?, ?Calcium Hypochlorite?, and ?Cationic Polyacrylamide?. This requirement will be partial deliveries. All items shall be delivered within 5 days after the date of each customer request. The Government may make a single award to the responsible offers which is the most advantageous to the Government on the basis of Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted proposal. The solicitation (Request for Quotation) will be e-mailed upon a written request to the Point of Contact listed.
