Description
NAICS Code: 325120 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS OF WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT OR REIMBURSEMENT THE COST INCURRED BY PROVIDING THE INFORMATION REQUESTED UNDER THIS NOTICE. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 4, Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) is conducting market research. The purpose of this market research is to determine potential small business sources and their capability statements outlining their personnel qualification and capability of providing Bulk Argon Gas (micro bulk), 500 Hundred Cubic Feet (HCF) and tank rental. The requirement is a supply with incidental to service. The price will be firm-fixed with One Option Year. The argon gas shall be sufficient purity to be used on scientific equipment (ICP and ICP-MS). The contractor shall perform routine maintenance on the storage tank at no cost to the Government. To be considered a small business, this procurement will utilize NAICS Code 325120 with a size standard of 1000 employees or less. Also, to be considered a small business for this requirement the manufacturer of gas shall be a small business. Firms responding must provide information on their size status (large, small, or 8(a)) along with stating if the manufacturer of gas is a small business. The information submitted will be evaluated and used to determine whether or not this procurement will be set-aside for small business. Otherwise, this procurement will be subject to full and open competition. The information contained in the capability statements will be used to access the capabilities of the small business community with respect to this requirement.
