Description

This notice is to inform industry of Defense Security Cooperation Agency's (DSCA) intent to award a sole source contract for a International Program Security Course on a non-competitive basis. The purpose of this award is to provide continuity of service to the Defense Institute for Security (DISAM). The incumbent for the current contract is AVANCO, 7921 Jones Branch Drive, Suite 450, McLean, VA 22102. This contract will provide training in the security aspects of international programs to government and contractor employees. The training program will improve the understanding of U.S. laws, policies, bilateral and multilateral agreements (including NATO), bilateral agreements, and regulations governing the participation of foreign governments and corporations in the U.S. Government and commercial programs involving access to classified and export-controlled unclassified data. Contract is due to expire on 31 Dec 04. The anticipated contract will be Firm Fixed Price with a base year and three (3) one-year option periods. The applicable NAICS Code is 611710. The Government intends to make a single award using the Best Value approach. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on or about 15 December 2004, on the website: www.fedbizopps.gov and http://www.dsca-gifts.org/. Potential sources must be registered in the Contractors Central Registration (CCR) in order to participate in this procurement. The information contained in this notification is based on the best and most current information available to date, is subject to change and is not binding on the Government.
