Description

The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance and disposal of seized and forfeited vehicles in the District of Puerto Rico. The vehicles will include production sized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract with a contract term of a base year with 4 one-year options, for a total of 5 years. THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED. It is ancicipated that solicitation number DJMS-05-R-0009 will be issued on or about January 7, 2005. The estimated response time will be on or about February 7, 2005. This solicitation will be distributed through the General Services Administrations's Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site: www.eps.gov. The EPS site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the EPS site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the EPS site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-DEC-2004); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
