Description
The Government intends to procure under full and open competition maintenance services (to include all parts, labor, and travel) on seventeen (17) Siemens, Macintosh, and Acuson Corporation imaging systems and related equipment. The imaging systems and related equipment include Bodyscan Gamma Counter, Power Macintosh G3 Computer PC, Graphic Series G800, Multispec2 Gamma Counter, ECAM Gamma Counter, 545 Computer PC, Viewsonic E-90f Computer Monitor, Graphic Series G800/ICON, Elegra Ultrasound Unit, Mutistar Radiographic/Flouroscopic System, Sequoia 512 Scanning System Ultrasonic, SimView 3000, Computer Network System that works with SimView, Primus Linear Accelerator, Primus Linear Accelerator, Mevatron Linear Accelerator, and NGRE Ultrasound Unit. The requiring activity is the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP), Virginia and the systems and related equipment are located in the following departments: Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, Radiation Therapy, and OB/GYN Sewell! s Point. The resulting contract will be for the base period of 01 Apr 2005 – 30 Sep 2005, with four one-year options. The proposed requirement will be awarded under a Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures under FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The NAICS code is 811219. This requirement is a follow-on to N00189-00-P-0918 awarded to Siemens Medical Systems Inc., 7616-F Business Park Drive, Greensboro, NC 27409. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials or owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about 19 Jan 05. The Contrac! ting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerrors at anytime prior to award.
