Description

This posting constitutes the United States Military Academy's notice of intent to award on a sole source basis, a purchase order to American Chemical Society, 2540 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43210, for providing a one year contract for prop rietary web-based subscriptions for the USMA Library. Award amount is estimated at $36,144. The statuatory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will sati sfy agency requirement. The applicable NAICS code is 516110 and the size standard is 500. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers. There will be no solicitation issued. See Note 22. Insert 2 days in lieu of 45 days in note 22. The determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, upon receipt of response to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the Government.
