Description
Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency (USACA), Southern Region, Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a contract with Diversified Technical Systems, Inc., 909 Electric Avenue, Suite 206, Seal Beach, Californi a 90740-6374 for a TDAS Pro Crash Test Recorder - TDAS3-R8 Rack, TDAS3-SIM-16M Sensor Input Modules with a TDAS3-C-BASE base kit from Diversified Technical Systems, LLC, they are the sole producers and distributors of these accessories for the TDAS-Pro Cr ash Test Recorder. This acquisition consist of the following: one (1) each  Eight-Channel Rack for TDAS Pro Crash Test Recorder -TDAS3-R8; eight (8) each  Sensor Input Module TDAS30SIM16M; one (1) each  Base Kit (Cables & Accessories) TDAS3-C-Base; t wo (2) each  Four-Channel Rack for TDAS Pro TDASS3-R4; one (1) each  Add-on Kit TDAS3-C-ADD; one (1) each  Visual indicator TDAS-VSI; and one (1) each  Full TDAS Plus Distributor TDAS-TBD-02 to provide additional high speed automotive testing applicati ons for the existing crash test recorders currently being utilized by the Automotive Instrumentation Section of the U.S. Army Proving Ground (USAYPG), Electronics Division, Yuma, Arizona. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses other than the above source may identify their interest and capabilities to perfo rm the requirement by submitting a proposal via email or facsimile with complete mailing address, point of contact, phone number, facsimile number and business size. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 10 days instead of 45 days.
