A good understanding of the synthetic metho dologies for organic compounds is required. The technician shall have expertise in Chromatography systems like TLC, Fla sh chromatography, HPLC (reversed phase, normal phase, and s ize exclusion methods), GC-MS, and LC-MS; Should be able to use and maintain all these instruments; have expertise in sp ectroscopy techniques like: UV-VIS, NMR, IR and Mass spectro meter; have experience with in vitro assays like ELIZA and C ell adhesion inhibition assays.The technician shall be requi red to synthesize the designed compounds, maintain inventory of lab chemicals, maintain chemical waste inventory for che mical wasted produced in the lab; maintain records of all re search and generate reports based on the results of the rese arch.
