Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Sheridan, Oregon, intends to make a single award for a direct contact, gas fired water heater in accordance with the following specifications: minimum 95 percent efficient, with capabilities of 1.2 to 1.7 million BTU, capable of 45 gallons per minute peak with a 90-degree temperature rise from 50 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit; 13,000 gallons per day usage, with a foot print no larger than 7' x 7' x 12' high. All stainless steel components. Water heater shall meet USDA, FDA, CSA, UL, and FM regulations and standards for potable water. The solicitation will be made available on or about January 5, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
