Description

The United States Army Communications Electronic Command (CECOM) intends to solicit and award a sole source five year Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, One Responsible Source, for the acquisition of up to 2000 units, in any combination of, Modification Kit MK-2807 (NSN: 1680-01-406-2328) and Modification Kit MK2804 (NSN: 1680-04-413-1871) with Raytheon Fort Wayne, IN. Raytheon is the only source that possesses the manufacturing cap ability and the technical data necessary to provide the Government with items that will perform the required communications functions. The MK-2807 Modification Kit provides the components that are necessary to convert Non-Data Bus HAVEQUICK II RT-1504 radio set into the MIL-STD-1553 Data Bus RT-1614 radio set. The MK-2804 Modification Kit provides the components that are necessary to con vert a Non-Aviator Night Vision Imaging System (ANVIS) compatible RT-1518 radio set into an ANVIS compatible RT-1518C radio set. Shipments are to be FOB destination with Inspection/Acceptance at Contractor Facility. Packaging and delivery schedule will be as specified in the solicitation. This is a request for proposal (RFP) and the solicitation number assigned is W15P7T-05-R-C006 . The US Army CECOM has established the IBOP website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of Solicitation for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from CECOM to industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at http://abop.monmouth.army.mil All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. See Numbered Notes 22.
