Description

The work consists of approximately 1,400,000 cubic yards of maintenance shallow draft dredging. Placement will be in confined placement areas with levee work and in unconfined beneficial use sites. The estimated cost range for this project is betwe en $1 million and $5 million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $17 million. The Galveston District's Subcontracting goals are: Small Business - 50.9% ; Small Disadvantaged Business - 8.8%; Woman-Owned Small Business - 7.2%; Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business - 0.5%; Hubzone Small Business - 2.9%. Bid Opening will be held in Room 175. The plans and specifications will only be available via our website, on the issue date. It is the contractor's responsibility to register on the website, to download plans and specs, and to check daily for any posted changes to this solicitation, at: www.swg.usace.army.mil/ct.
