Description

The work consists of maintenance dredging of approximately 1,000,000 cubic yards from a shallow draft channel; constructing an earth filled Beneficial Use Site; levee work; drop-outlet structure repair; cellular concrete mattresses; and sheet pile wa ll construction. The estimated cost range for this project is between $1 million and $5 million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $17 million. The G alveston District's Subcontracting goals are: Small Business - 50.9%; Small Disadvantaged Business - 8.8%; Woman-Owned Small Business - 7.2%; Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business - 0.5%; Hubzone Small Business - 2.9%. Bid Opening will be held in R oom 175. The plans and specifications will only be available via our website, on the issue date. It is the contractor's responsibility to register on the website, to download plans and specs, and to check daily for any posted changes to this solicitation, at: www.swg.usace.army.mil/ct.
