- This is a notice of Intent to award a Sole Source contract for service under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to CCH Inc, PO BOX 4307, Carol Stream, IL 60197-4307. The scope of work includes the following: The U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) requires access to online databases of legal, regulatory and banking related publications. The services are being procured under FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The above named vendor is believed to be the only source for this service. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Interested contractors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing by e-mail to Louis Gilden no later than 5:00PM EST on December 22, 2004, contact information is as follows: gildenl@sec.gov . Capabilities / qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
