Description

NAVAIR has a requirement to obtain supporting documentation for specification changes relative to protection from radiated emissions in the operational environment and for the development of the necessary test equipment to allow determination of the proper operation of ALQ-218 protection devices by fleet personnel. This test software will be incorporated into the Operational Flight Program (OFP) to provide a fleet maintainer the capability to perform on-aircraft integrity testing of the antenna elements, front-end protection and band pass circuitry. This SDC maintenance mode/tool shall be accessible by stimulating the WRA-7 processor with commands provided via the Tactical Display System (TDS) or the external TJS LAN interface. The Navy intends to issue a modification to existing contract N00019-98-C-0062 on a sole source basis to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, 600 Grumman Road West, Bethpage, NY.
