- Amendment 0001 has been issued. Please download amendment from www.fedbizopps.gov. Bid Opening date is extended to December 28, 2004 at 2:00PM ET. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to dredge and dispose of materials dredged from the small boat basin at USCG Station, Port Pierce, Florida. The work includes: Conduct pre- and post-dredge hydrographic surveys of the boat basin for the purpose of establishing the quantities of material that was actually dredged. Mechanically dredge the boat basin by land to Elevation -10.0’ M.L.W. on the north-side of the main wooden pier and to –8.0’ M.L.W. on the south-side of the main wooden pier. The estimated base bid quantity of dredge material to be removed is 2600 cubic yards. Dispose of dredge sediments at the St. Lucie County Landfill in accordance with applicable permits. The St. Lucie County Landfill is a subtitle D landfill and the material must be deposited in a lined cell. The landfill is located at 6120 Glades Cut Off Rd., Fort Pierce, FL Alternate disposal sites for dredged material will be considered. The contractor shall be responsible for and submit evidence of all necessary permit modifications and approvals for use of an alternate site.The estimated construction price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Performance period is 60 calendar days. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. The applicable NAICS Code is 237990. The small business size standard is a three-year average annual gross receipts of $28.5 million. This solicitation is 100 percent set-aside for certified small business concerns.
