Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase request number is F1335042040200. This solicitation, FA4427-04-Q-0022 is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 01-24 and Defense DCN 04-0625. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 7110 The associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 2522. The North American Industry Classification System is 337214 and the associated business size standard is 500 employees. If (2) two or more responsive, responsible and technically acceptable small or HUBZone businesses respond, this acquisition will be 100% set-aside for small business, if not, it will be unrestricted. Cost must include deliver and installation at Travis Air Force Base. Line Item 0001 Furniture for Building 836. Drawings will be provided upon receipt of e-mail request. Site visit required as specified below. All items shall be delivered and installed at Travis AFB, CA no later than 35 days after receipt of purchase order. The following provisions and or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instruction contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, paragraph (a) to this provision is completed as follows: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items, a completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer. Quotes without this provision will not be considered for an award. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items will be incorporated into any resultant Purchase Order by reference. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Condition Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items include clauses (b), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (17), (22) (23)(25)(if required)and (c). FAR 52.237-1 Site Visit. Site visit is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. on 16 AUG 2004. No proposals will be accepted from Offerors who have not attended the site visit. Those planning on attending must provide an email to Rebecca Gregoroff at rebecca.gregoroff@travis.af.mil with a courtesy copy to matt.jones@travis.af.mil in order to be personally sponsored through the visitor center. Personnel planning on attending will meet at the visitor center to obtain a temporary pass and will then proceed to Building 836 to measure and be familiar with scope of work. Valid ID Card, Drivers Licence, Vehicle Registration and Insurance is required. All questions arising from Site Visit will be answered in a public forum and posted. For information on WAWF, go to https://wawf.eb.mil. Request Clauses may be accessed electronically in full text through http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Vendors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors are asked to submit their TAX ID number with their proposal. Proposals must include drawings. Quotes may be transmitted by e-mail or FAX to (707) 424-2712 and are to be received at the 60th Contracting Squadron no later that 16:00 PST on 18 Aug 04.
