Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Transport and Satellite Branch, Procurement Section (DITCO/PL8221), Scott AFB, IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a purchase order under FAR Part 13 on a Sole Source Basis to TMANet for maintenance services in support of the Columbus Community Telephone Switching System (CCTSS). (Reference FAR 6.302). These services will include 24x7 hardware maintenance, repair and return for failed parts, and software maintenance. The service location is Columbus OH. Period of performance is one base year and four one-year options. TMANet is the only known source that is capable of providing these services as they hold the proprietary data rights to the software imbedded on this system. This is not a request for proposal. There are no solicitation documents. Vendors desiring to submit offers demonstrating their capability to provide both hardware and software support for this system must request a copy of the performance specification and submit their proposal in sufficient detail for qualified technicians to evaluate the proposal. If it is determined the offered proposals meet the requirements of the performance specification, a request for quotation will be issued for a competitive acquisition. Vendors must submit their requests to DITCO/PL8221 no later than COB 05 January 2005. If no requests are received by 05 January 2005, a purchase order will be issued to TMANet to provide this service.
