Description: SPECIAL NOTICE. This is not a RFP. The Government intends to negotiate and issue a sole source modification to extend contract N00421-00-D-0248. The purpose of the modification is to provide technical, engineering, and program advisory and assistance services support for the Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA) Program Office (PMA 290). The estimated period of performance is from 01 January 2005 through 30 June 2005. The incumbent contractor RBC Incorporated, is the only source available with the technical expertise to effectively and efficiently complete the additional effort without causing degradation of mission capability and operational support in the period needed to complete a competitive award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
