Description

The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a sole source purchase order for the rental, for a period not to exceed one year, of a double-cabin pickup truck in Baghdad, Iraq. The rental must be on a month-to-month basis, and the contractor must insure the vehicle except against war, theft, or total loss. Due to security concerns, the vehicle must be able to be picked up at Camp Victory, Baghdad, Iraq, and the contractor must be available to repair the vehicle at Camp Victory, if necessary. The Internal Revenue Service has identified Saudi Naval Support Company, Ltd. as the only contractor who is capable of meeting IRS requirements. Responsible sources who can provide the above equipment may submit written quotations no later than 15 days from the published date of this announcement. No solicitations will be issued, therefore, requests for solicitations will be considered non-responsive. If no responses are received the award will be made to Saudi Naval Support Company, Ltd.
