- THIS NOTICE IS HEREBY AMENDED TO DELETE ITEM 1.1 (REPLACE GUNITE) OF THE STATEMENT OF WORK. (NO REQUIREMENT FOR GUNITE.) This notice constitutes a combined synopsis/solicitation in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information herein. The acquisition is not set-aside for small businesses. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238110 and the size standard is $12M. A written solicitation will NOT be issued. The Defense Distribution Center, Sharpe Depot, Lathrop, CA has a requirement to locate and repair leaks and replaster the entire swimming pool. Contractor to furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary to complete the repair. STATEMENT OF WORK 1. Contractor to furnish all labor, material, transportation, supplies and supervision necessary to Locate and Repair leaks in swimming pool. Size 30 x 75 x 3 to 12 deep. This includes the following: 1.1 Replace gunite. 1.2 Undercut and chip entire tile line. 1.3 Sandblast or waterblast the entire pool. 1.4 Replace rings and grate for main drain. 1.5 Remove old fiberglass. 1.6 Plaster with bond and finish coat. 2. Special Conditions/Requirements: 2.1 All work shall comply with EPA Regulation. 2.2 Government will empty and refill the pool with water. (Coordination required with the Contractor) 2.3 All excess materials and construction debris generated by this work shall be remove from Government property daily. Use of government dumpsters, trashcan or other receptacles are prohibited. 2.4 Contractor is subject to all DDJC and DLA security regulations, including but not limited to Base regulations pertaining to rules of the road, vehicle registration requirements, conditions of access and ID badges. In addition to the above information, this procurement is subject to the Service Contract Act and a wage determination (WD) is required. The place of performance for this acquisition and any resulting contract is: Lathrop, CA. Wage Determination No 94-2067 REV (22) dtd 08/05/2004 for this location and may be obtained from the Armys web page at http://www.ceals.usace.army.mil/. Contractors must pay at least the applicable WD rate to all employees working under any contract that may result from this announcement. Paid Government holidays apply.
