Description

The National Cancer Institute (NCI), Office of Cancer Communication (OCC) proposes to purchase on a sole source basis, a site license of the Cancer Letter and Clinical Cancer Letter from Cancer Letter, PO Box 9905, Washington, D.C. The site license for the Cancer letter will enable NCI staff members to have campus-wide, on-line access tot he newsletter. The Cancer Letter reports on the National Cancer Institute, cancer policy, and cancer research on a weekly basis. Consequently, it represents a very timely, comprehensive information resource for NCI personnel. The planned purchase of the site license will be valid for a base period of one year and include two, one year options for renewal. The Cancer Letter is a proprietary subscription and is believed to be unique for this reason. However, if any interested party believes it can meet the above requirements, if may submit a statement of capabilities. The capability statement and any other furnished information must be in writing and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow NCI to determine if the party can fully meet the requirement herein. Capability statement must be received in the contracting office by 1:00 pm EST on January 13, 2005. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
