Description

The Government intends to procure the following items under a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order for Audio Visual (AV) and Information Technology (IT) Equipment Rental and Support for the 44th Navy Occupational Health and Preventive Medicine Workshop at the Cavalier Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, Holiday Inn Sun Spree Hotel, Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel and amada Plaza Resort Oceanfront Hotel. All facilitities are located in Virginia Beach, VA. The Performance Period for the resulting purchase order will be from February 11, 2005 through February 18, 2005. the proposed requirement will be awarded under a Firm-Fixed Price purchase utilizing procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 23 December 2004 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: htp;//www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This is a small business set-aside, the size standard is $6.0 million. The applicable NAICS Code is 532490. All responsible sources must submit pricing and past parformance data by 4:00 p.m. on the date the offer is due. Potential contractors are hereby notified tht the solicitation is and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this offie will no longer issue hard copy solicitatons. All offerors shall include any charges that will be incurred from the host hotel in their offers (i.e.) sound system, internet connections, and electrical usage fees. In addition, note that travel and lodging is the responsbility of the offerors and shall not be included in the offer; the Government is not responsble for travel/lodging. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, or debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contract from and Federal Agency. NO SOLICITATIN EXISTS AT THIS TIME. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or writen discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. The prospective awardees must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the U.S. Lack of regisitration in the CCr database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
