- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for a remanufactured, CVC 2800 Load Lock Sputtering System in support of the Detector Systems Branch. For additional information see the following uploaded files: (1) Solicitation Information, and (2) Deliverable Items List and Specifications. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 334516 and 500, respectively. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The following procedures apply to this procurement: A competitive range determination may not be made. Award without discussions may be made. Negotiations may be held with one or more offerors but not necessarily with all offerors in the competitive range if one is established. Comparative evaluations of offers may be made. Offers will be evaluated inclusive of transportation charges from the shipping point of the supplier to the delivery destination. Award will be based upon an assessment of price and other factors. The award document may be a purchase order or a contract, at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Notifications to unsuccessful offeror shall be given only if requested. The anticipated release date of RFQ No. NNG05065465Q is on or about December 23, 2004 with an anticipated proposal due date of on or about January 7, 2005, at 3 pm Eastern time. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/GSFC Business Opportunities page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=51 Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
