Description

The following is incorporated into this solicitation: The definitional mission team will explore all types of energy sector projects in Kenya and Uganda, looking for projects that may be the best match for USTDA funding. USTDA has received some leads (but no proposals), including for geothermal energy projects in both Kenya and Uganda, and for power transmission and rural electrification projects in both countries. The teams should not limit themselves to these projects (and these type of energy-sector activities). Teams should have broad energy-sector experience. USTDA seeks to increase its assistance in this field for priority projects in the region. Leads should be considered, but the team will be expected to rely on their own contacts and background knowledge to explore the sector for appropriate recommendations. The date for reciept of proposals remains January 07, 2005
