- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with Federal Acquistion Regulation (FAR) FAC 2001-24. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and is issued as a Request for Quotation. A WRITEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation/RFQ Number is FA4809-05-Q-0114. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561710 and the small business size is $6 Million. The purchase is for the acquisition of the following service: Provide pest control service to Fort Fisher Recreation, Kure Beach NC as follows: Line item 1: Nine (9) months - Provide nuisance insect and rodent control of facilities; Line item 2: Six (6) months - Control venomous arthropod, vertebrate pest and disease vectors; and Line item 3: Six (6) months - Conduct weed control in areas outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). All work will be performed in accordance with the SOW. Anticipated start date is 3 Jan 2005. *** INTERESTED OFFERORS MUST REQUEST COPY OF THE SOW FOR SPECIFIC DETAILS. Quotes shall address all requirements in this combined synopsis/solicitation. The Government anticipates awarding one order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitaion. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this combined synopsis/solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Quotes will be evaluated in accordance with FAR Subpart 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items. The following factor shall be used to evaluate offers: Price. Wage Determination 1994-2393 Revision 27, dated 10 Aug 04 applies to this acquisition. Paragrah will now read as follows: Routine work will consist of monthly inspections and treatment (if needed) to food facilities, and quarterly inspection and treatment (if needed) to all other facilities. Tick control in outside areas should be conducted during the months of April, June, and August to all grassy fields to include camping and dog kennel areas.
