Description

The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for the furnishing of wheelchair van patient transportation services for the VA Medical Center, St. Louis, MO. Contractor will be required to furnish wheelchair patient transportation, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year to authorized beneficiaries of the VA Medical Center, Jefferson Barracks Division and John Cochran Division of the VA Medical Center, St. Louis, MO. Contract term will be for a base period of one year effective March 1, 2005 with option to renew 4 additional one-year periods. A Pre-Proposal meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 10, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. This meeting will be held in the Engineering Conference Room, Bldg. 18, Rm. 1-104, VA Medical Center, #1 Jefferson Barracks Drive, St. Louis, MO 63125. This requirement has been set-aside for 100% small business participation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated for both technical merit and price reasonableness in accordance with the evaluation procedures of the solicitation. Request for Proposal will be available on or about December 27, 2004. Due date for receipt of offers is January 28, 2005, 4:00 p.m. CST. Anticipated award date is February 14, 2005.
