Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center,Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on sole source basis with Aeroquip Corp for Aeroquip AE81284U emergency dry break couplings for use on refueling systems in support of Whibdey Island Naval Air Station, Oak harbor, WA 98278. The contractor shall provide four each Aeroquip dry break couplings, 3 inch, Size ? 48, that shall operate independently of internal pressure and be and separate at 200 (plus 50 minus 25) pounds tensile pull and be capable of reinstallation without replacement parts. Delivery date shall be 180 days after date of contract. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 28 December 2004 with a closing date of 12 January 2005. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.5. (X) 1. To be negotiated on a sole source basis (X) 5.
