Description

1. The Coronado National Forest, Tucson, Arizona, is soliciting for tree planting services. 2. The proposed project is located on the Santa Catalina Ranger District, north of Tucson on Mt. Lemmon, just west of the community of Summerhaven, Arizona. 3. Contractor shall provide any and all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies and incidentals necessary to perform 180 acres of tree planting. The contract includes tree handling and planting and construction of shade structures to provide the seedlings with the greatest chance of survival. 4. Contract time is 45 calendar days. 5. Price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business- NAICS 115310 and size standard $15.0 million. 6. The contract shall be a performance based service contract with a firm fixed price. 7. Fax request for solicitation or inquiries to Alix Ellis at (520) 388-8332, no later than the issue date of January 12, 2005. 8. Deadline for receipt of quotes shall be February 14, 2005. 9. Award will be based on best value to the Government upon evaluation of price and past performance. Anticipated award date is February 18, 2005. 10. The estimated start work date is dependent on weather and ground conditions, but will be on or shortly after March 1, 2005.
