Description

REPAIR 24 inch WATER LINE IN MAIN TOWER WITH DOMESTIC PIPE IN WATER TOWER: The contractor shall install a new section of 24? domestic pipe, replacing the leaking dresser coupling. 1. The contractor shall remove the existing leaking section of the 24? steel domestic water line which contains the leaking dresser coupling. 2. A new 3 foot section of 24? domestic steel pipe will replace the leaking section. The pipe will be installed by welding. 3. The contractor is to provide all the materials according to the specifications. A leak/pressure test will be performed after work is completed to determine strengths of welds and to show that no leaks are present 4. Contractor is to provide date of completion. 5. Assembly of the pipe will start no earlier than 0630 or time determined by CE personnel. At the end of each day, the site will be clean of debris and stowed properly. 6. Any damage done to the walls during assembly must be repaired to match. Leave the site clean after completion. PERFORMANCE PERIOD Work under this contract shall be completed within 59 days after receipt by the Contractor of written Notice to Proceed.
