Description

NSN: 2840-01-262-5551, P/N 1286M59G01, Revision ?D?, dated 26 October 1987. Purchase Request No: RD04306001000. Total annual estimated quantity (AEQ) 52 each. Solicitation will include a term of base year plus four option years. FOB Point at Destination. Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Critical application item. Quantity variance is plus or minus 5%. There are eight approved sources of supply: G.E. Structured Services L.P. (03350), Thermo Nutec (0HUV5), Birken Manufacturing (31340), Barnes Group Inc. (31417), Electro-Methods Inc. (33617), Tecomet-Albuquerque (59665) Meco Inc. (91913) and General Tool (96454). Solicitation will be issued on a restricted basis, under full and open competition procedures after exclusion of sources. The Government's required delivery schedule is 104 DARO for Stock. First Article Testing applies. Surge Requirements are applicable. Specifications, Plans or Drawings related to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government on the NSN. Effective June 1, 1998, in order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
