- A fixed quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for National Stock Number (NSN): 2840013170252NZ; Part Number: 4064162; NOUN: Anti-Icing Cone; Quantity: Range of 4 or 8 or 12 EA; Required Delivery: Sep 05. Destination: Ship to FB2039; Size and Dimensions: Length: 4.780 inches, Width: 2.930 inches. Predominant Material: AMS 4911 Titanium Alloy. Form, Fit and Function: Fits on #1 Bearing Housing Cover and air that is not bled from the strut is directed into Cone Assembly where it exits through slots into the Engine air stream on F100/200 engine. Data is considered Export Controlled. First Article Requirements apply to this action but are waived for Original Manufacturer, United Technologies Corp (Pratt & Whitney). If First Article data is requested it will be provided. Qualification requirements are available for this Part Number upon request. Qualification information can be obtained from OC-ALC/BC, Attention: Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Drive Suite 1AG85A, Tinker AFB OK 73145-3009 (405) 739-7243 or (405) 739-7244. The Government plans to negotiate a sole source contract with United Technologies Corp (Pratt & Whitney) 400 Main St Suite 1, East Hartford CT 06118-1888, under authority of FAR 6.302-1, as United Technologies Corp (Pratt & Whitney) is the only approved source. Formal solicitation will not be developed. However, if formal solicitation is requested the Government will create and provide one. To obtain required technical data, potential offerors must use TEDs at https://www.fedteds.gov. All proposals must be received no later than 4:00 PM (Central Standard Time) on 10 Jan 2005. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Government. The award date is estimated to be on or about 13 Jan 2005. See Government Wide Numbered notes 23 and 26.
