Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued by The U.S. Ar my Aviation and Missile Command, on behalf of the Product Manager for Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD). The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command proposes to acquire by other than full and open competition a Precision Lightweight Global Positioning Syste m (GPS) Receiver (PLGR) to include a Carrying Case, an Operator and Maintenance manual and Standard Positioning Service (SPS). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. Questions regarding this solicitation may be faxed to (256) 955-6449 or e-mailed to dawn.taylor@us.army.mil. Quotes must be received no later than 1:00 p.m. central time, 01/06/2005, and will be accepted via FAX ( 256)-955-6449. This acquisition will be conducted paperless t o the greatest extent practical. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
