N00164-05-R-4219 - MK 3 MOD 0 MATERIAL HANDLING PALLET - FSG 39 - NAICS 332995 Anticipated Issue date 19 JAN 2005 - Anticipated Closing Date 21 FEB 2005 - 2:00 PM EST ?This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitation to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane.? This requirement is for MK 3 MOD 0 Material Handling Pallet in accordance with Automated Data List (ADL) 10001-564200, Revision K, specifications, associated drawings, quality assurance provisions (QAP-N-04) and other packaging requirements to be provided with the solicitation package. The Government requires a quantity of 1 each First Article and 3,000 each (minimum) and 15,000 each (maximum) of MK 3 MOD 0 Material Handling Pallet over a 5-year ordering period. The First Article quantity is due 90 days after contract award. The total production quantity of 3000 units is due 360 days after contract award, delivery shall be in intervals with the first 1,500 each due 225 days after contract award with the final 1,500 each due at 360 days after contract award. The Government requires 45 days each for First Article and production lot acceptance testing. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database and the Joint Certification Program. Thi! s acquisition is 100% Small Business set-aside. All Small Business sources will be considered. Inspection at source and acceptance shall be at destination. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the Government considering past performance and price related factors. The solicitation will be available on or about 19 January 2005 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm. ?No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed?.
