- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number RFQ-05-068 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 454311 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to award a single IDIQ contract with fixed price per gallon of fuel oil. Requirement: The contractor shall deliver #2 Diesel Heating Fuel less than 1% sulfur to the AFRH-W Heating plant #46 which is outfitted with (6) gravity feed 20,000-gallon capacity tanks on an as needed basis. The Contractor shall deliver fuel no later than 24 hours after telephone request from the Contracting Officers Technical Representative or the Alternate (COTR) has been placed. Any residual fuel in the tanker at the time of delivery will be delivered to various generators around the grounds of AFRH-W campus as designated by the COR. Period of Performance: Date of Award through September 30, 2005. The following clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
